I am writing this letter to state that I ,ABCD, was offered job in your esteemed bank and I had to join on 16th October , 2018.
I am sorry to inform that I cannot start the work on 14th as the company which I am currently working in is not allowing me to leave for two more days since the project I was working on will get complete on 14th October.
Therefore, it is my humble request that kindly extend my joining date since I will need few days to wrap up everything including accommodation. Also , as I live in Chandigarh , it would take time for packing and travelling. Kindly allow me to join on 20th October , I will be highly obliged.
