Organiser: The tournament was organised by World Archery (WA), headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Participation Details: A total of 570 archers from 63 countries participated in the disciplines of Recurve and Compound, across Under-18 (Cadet) and Under-21 (Junior) categories.

  • Competitions were held in individual, team, and mixed team formats for both men and women, with 20 titles awarded in total.

Medal Haul: India’s 24-member contingent secured 8 medals, highlighting dominance in compound events and historic achievements in recurve, placing India at second overall in the medal standings but won the most gold medals (4 Medals, tied with USA).

  • The South Korea (ROK) topped the tally by total medals of 10, and  United States of America (USA) placed in the third position.

Highlights of Indian Success:

Sharvari Shende: Aged 16, became the third Indian woman to win U18 Recurve gold after defeating Korea’s Kim Yewon in a shoot-off, sealing victory with a perfect 10.

Compound U21 Men’s Team: Claimed their first-ever Junior World title, beating Germany in a shoot-off.

Compound U18 Men’s Team: Secured gold by defeating the USA in the finals.

Chikitha Taniparthi: Scripted history as the first Indian to win gold in the U21 Women’s Compound event, overcoming Korea’s top seed Park Yerin with a 142–136 scoreline.
