VVS Laxman named an Honorary Life Member of MCC

Former India batsman V V S Laxman was awarded an honorary life membership to the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) on 11 May 2017.

Laxman is the fifth Indian to receive the honour, after Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Sourav Ganguly and Zaheer Khan.

  • He was born on 1stNovember 1974 and his full name is Vangipurapu Venkata Sai Laxman.
