Olympic badminton champion Viktor Axelsen clinched the 2021 Denmark OpenIn October 2021, Olympic Badminton Men’s Singles Gold medalist, Viktor Axelsen (Denmark) won the 2021 Denmark Open badminton championship finals which was held in Odense, Denmark. In the finals, he competed with the current World Number 1 – Momota Kento of Japan.

  1. Viktor Axelsen won the finals scoring 20-22, 21-18, 21-12 in the 3-sets against Momota Kento.
  2. This also marks Viktor Axelsen’s 2nd victory against the World No. 1 player Momota Kento from the total 16 matches played between them.
