On March 26, 2025, Union Minister Piyush Goyal, Minister of Commerce and Industry (MoC&I) conferred the National Intellectual Property (IP) Awards 2024 at the award function held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi (Delhi).

  • The awards were conferred annually to recognize and reward individuals, institutions, organizations, and enterprises for their outstanding contributions to IP creation and commercialization.
  • It underscores India’s commitment to fostering innovation and strengthening its IP ecosystem, aligning with the vision of a Viksit Bharat.

The National IP Awards 2024, presented across 13 categories, recognised outstanding contributions from individuals, academic institutions, startups, and corporations, further strengthening India’s position as a global innovation leader.
