Twitter’s VP of Asia Pacific, Aliza Knox quits

 Followed by Carolyn Penner , head of product communications at Twitter and now twitter loses its head of Asia pacific , Aliza Knox. She decided to quit after her successful near five -year tenure with Twitter.

 Aliza Knox dedications at Twitter  :

• Knox joined Twitter in November 2012 and she was the first person who had been hired for company’s expansion plans for the Asia Pacific region.
• She was responsible for building Twitter’s operations , online partnerships and self- serve advertising.
• She leads the APAC women programs in both Twitter and Google.
• Singapore government appointed Knox to two key committees and invited to address the Singapore Institute of Directors on why gender diversity is important to boards.
• Knox runs the company’s Asia operations in Singapore office with more than 100 employees and the operations spanning across nine regions including Tokyo.

Current position of Aliza Knox

After her dedicated four and half years at Twitter, she hand over her leadership responsibilities to Maya –Hari , Managing Director of India & southeast Asia of Twitter.

• Twitter has also confirmed Knox’s departure from the company. Due to this realignment and costs cut, Twitter had reduced nine per cent of workforce globally.
