In April 2025, Jishnu Dev Varma, Governor of Telangana,inaugurated Babuji Vanam, the world’s first energy transmission garden at Kanha Shanti Vanam in Hyderabad, Telangana.
- This initiative, developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture (MoC) and was launched as part of the 125th birth anniversary celebrations of Pujya Babuji Maharaj, the founder of the Sahaj Marg meditation system.
Key Features of Babuji Vanam:
i.The garden encompasses 40 species of medicinal trees, including Neem, Red Sandalwood, Tulsi, and Tropical Almond, selected for their spiritual and healing properties.
ii.Designed to radiate Pranahuti (yogic transmission), the garden features acupressure pathways, percolation pits, and sloped landscapes to facilitate rainwater harvesting and promote ecological sustainability.
iii.A central water body symbolizes the origin of creation, while a biodiversity patch attracts native fauna and birds.
iv.A cow pen is integrated to foster children’s connection with nature, reflecting Babuji’s affinity for cows.
Special Publications:
During the event, two publications were released,
i.“Holy Tirthankars”: Authored by Rev Daaji (Guide of Hyderabad-based Heartfulness Institute), explores the spiritual legacy of 24 Jain Tirthankars, highlighting the spiritual heritage shared between Jainism and Heartfulness.
ii.“A Symphony of Love”: Compiles messages from Mother Hélène Peyret (Babuji’s scribe) during meditation sessions with Rev Daaji between 2012 and 2015, offering insights into human consciousness.

i.The 125th birth anniversary celebrations of Pujya Babuji Maharaj are a year-long commemoration (2024–2025) spanning 8 states: Tamil Nadu (TN), Uttar Pradesh (UP), Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh (AP), Gujarat, and Madhya Pradesh (MP), reaching 12 crore people across 65,000 villages.
ii.These initiatives included Ektam Abhiyan, meditation programs, lifestyle improvement workshops, and skill-building sessions, disseminating Babuji Maharaj’s message of spiritual transformation and ecological responsibility.
