On 14th June 2020, Sushant Singh Rajput, 34 year old actor comitted suicide & found dead at his home in Bandra, Mumbai. He was born on 16th January 1986 in Patna, Bihar.He promoted the Women Entrepreneurship Platform of NITI Aayog which was launched on 8th March 2018.
About Sushant Singh:
In the AIEEE(All India Engineering Entrance Exam) he secured a rank in top 10.
He launched Sushant4Education, an educational programme to help the young students.
Career:
i.He was known for his role as Manav in the Pavitra Rishta tele series in 2009.
ii.He debuted in the movie Kai Po Che based on the 3 mistakes of My life, a novel by Chetan Bhagat in 2013.
iii.He acted in the Shuddh Desi Romance in 2013 and Detective Byomkesh Bakshyl in 2015.
iv.He acted in a supporting role in the Movie “PK” in 2014
v.He acted as M.S Dhoni in “MS Dhoni: The Untold Story” in 2016.
vi.The film “Dil Bechara” which is in the post production phase, is the official remake of “The Fault in our Stars” Hollywood movie(2014) and based on the novel (2012) by John Green.
Achievements:
i.He was twice nominated for the Filmfare Awards for Best Actor in 2014 and 2017
ii.He won the Best Actor Awards in the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne in 2017.
