On December 15, 2020 Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) won the Golden Peacock Environment Management Award(GPEMA) 2020 in the steel sector during a virtual ceremony of the 2nd cycle of Golden Peacock Awards 2020. Golden Peacock Awards 2020 were presented by The Institute of Directors(IOD). SAIL receives this award for the successive 2nd year.

i.Along with SAIL, 14 organisations received GPEMA 2020 in different categories.
ii.Other awards that were given on the virtual award presentation ceremony are:
