i. Amitabh Bachchan played as a Bengali father in the film ‘Piku’ and Deepika Padukone is also a part of that film.
ii. The Himachal Queen Kangana Renaut won the National award in the film “Tanu Weds Manu Returns” for the dual role.
iii. The Prominent director in the Telugu industry S.S. Rajamouli won the award in Best Feature Film Category named the film “Baahubali: The Beginning”.
iv. The historical epic drama “Bajirao Mastani” achieved numerous awards.

The directorial debut film “Masaan” won the Indira Gandhi Award which is directed by Neeraj Ghaywan.It is also honoured that Biswadeep Chatterjee’s sound designing and Justin Ghose’s re-recording of the final mixed track in that film “Bajirao Mastani”.
