Raza Hasan, Pakistan’s Left arm spinner who has played for Pakistan in One Day International Match and T20 Internationals has been suspended from all forms of Cricket for two years. The Ban comes after the Spinner had been tested positive for Cocaine. The Pakistan Cricket Board tested Raza Hasan who is 22 years old, during the Pentangular Cup at Karachi and the samples were sent to World Anti- Doping Agency- Accredited Lab in India.

The Sample A has proved him positive of Cocaine consumption. The Board has placed a 2 member Committee, before whom, Raza has been asked to explain himself. Failing which, or if the Sample B’s results too prove him positive of Cocaine, he will have to face the ban of two years. The PCB also said that Raza Hasan will also have to go through a Police Investigation, since Cocaine is banned in Pakistan.
