T20I Series Ends in Draw:
i.The three-match T20I series between India and South Africa ended in a draw 1-1 after the first match cancelled due to rain.
ii.Indian T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav scored his fourth century in the third T20I match against South Africa.
- He equalled the record for most T20 centuries in international cricket jointly held by Rohit Sharma and Glenn Maxwell (Australia).
iii.The player of the T20I Series was awarded to Suryakumar Yadav(India).
India won ODI Series:
i.KL Rahul captained the Indian ODI team, which won the 3-match ODI series 2-1 against South Africa.
ii.KL Rahul became 2nd Indian captain after Virat Kohli (2018) to lead India to ODI Series victory in South Africa.
iii.The player of the ODI Series was awarded to Arshdeep Singh(India). In the 1st ODI, Arshdeep Singh became the first Indian pacer to take a five-wicket haul against South Africa in South Africa.
Two-match test series ends in Draw:
i.The two-match test series between India (captain Rohit Sharma) and South Africa ended in a draw 1-1.
ii.The player of the test series was awarded to Dean Elgar(South Africa).
iii.The second Test match between India and South Africa in Cape Town lasted 107 overs, making it the shortest-ever in history (Result India Won).

South Africa’s Dean Elgar announces retirement from international cricketÂ
South Africa’s former Test captain Dean Elgar has announced his retirement from international cricket after the last test match against India.
i.He made his international debut in cricket in 2012 in an ODI against England in Cardiff (Wales) in the United Kingdom.
ii.He represented South Africa in 86 test matches and 8 ODIs scoring 5347 and 104 runs respectively.
South Africa Batsman Heinrich Klaasen announces retirement from Test cricketÂ
South African batsman Heinrich Klaasen has announced his retirement from Test cricket. He continues to play in ODI and T20I matches.
i.He made his test debut in 2019 against India in Ranchi(Jharkhand) and his last test appearance was in March 2023 against West Indies in Johannesburg (South Africa).
ii.He played 4 test matches and scored 104 runs in his test career.
