United States President Barack Obama has re-nominated Indian-American Investor Sunil Sabharwal as Alternate Executive Director at the International Monetary Fund (IMF). He was previously nominated in April 2014 to the same position. Mr Sabharwal has been an independent investor in the payments sector since 2006.

- From 2006 to 2009 – Board Advisor in Warburg Pincu.
- From 2011 to 2013 – Chairman of the Board of Ogone, a European e-commerce payment services company. Â
