Not a single Indian University is regarded by academics internationally as being among the world’s most prestigious Times Higher Education world reputation Rankings released on 12th March 2015.
According to the 2015 list, Harvard ranks First, followed by University of Cambridge and university of Oxford. US takes eight positions in Top 10 and 43 Top 100 List and UK has the second highest number.
London and Paris are tied for Top spot as the world cities with highest number of Top ranked Universities. Brazil, Russia and China-The other BRIC nations-have at least one top 100 Universities in the list.
Japan’s University of Tokyo at No. 12th tops Asian list in global reputation league.
