NDRI scientists developed technique to decrease cholesterol level in Ghee

A new technique is developed in NATIONAL DIARY RESEARCH INSTITUTE (NDRI) Karnal of Haryana to lower the level of Cholesterol in Ghee up to 80 to 90 percent in JULY, 2015.

  • AK SHRIVASTAVA, Director of National Diary Research Institute Karnal said that scientist have succeeded in lowering the level of cholesterol.
  • The main important part of this technique is that the ghee obtained through this technique is qualifying the PRESCRIBED STANDARDS.
  • NDRI signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Vaishal Patilputra Dugdh Utpadak Sahkari Sangh Ltd,Patna(known as Patna Diary Project) and transferred the technology.
  • The Patna diary officials planned to launch the product within two months.
