MoHUA Launched NCRPB’s Project Management Information System (P-MIS) Portal

NCRPB launches P-MIS portal (1)On 29th September 2020, The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs(MoHUA) launched Project Management Information System (P-MIS) Portal developed by National Capital Region Planning Board(NCRPD) to monitor the progress of their projects and to monitor and manage the loans. The P-MIS portal will be hosted on the NIC Server.

Project Management Information System (P-MIS) Portal:

i.Using digital or mobile technology the Project Management Information System (P-MIS) Portal will enhance the transparency and accountability of the project monitoring process and manage the loans.

ii.The portal ensures the integrity of the data by ensuring that apart from the Finance and Accounts Officer(FAO) no other officer can edit or modify the data that has been entered in the portal.

iii.P-MIS portal will support to monitor and resolve the issues in disbursement of loan, clearances and completion of project and will also provide the information and opportunity to deliver feedback to the citizens.

Note:

NCRPB has sanctioned over Rs. 15,000 crore loan in over RS. 31,000 crore worth of projects, and 265 projects of more than Rs. 18,500 crore are complete and the rest are under construction.

Features:

i.The Management Information System(MIS) of the portal enables sorting of Projects based on search criteria.

ii.The MIS also calculates the validity of Guarantees and issues auto notice prior to the expiry of validity of the guarantee.

iii.This will also generate an auto email and inform the Finance Officer of NCRPD when the guarantee falls short of requirement.

Note -On July 08, 2020 Union Cabinet approved ARHC as a sub scheme under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) as part of Atma Nirbhar Bharat Abhiyan. The scheme is estimated to benefit 3.5 Lakh people.
