Senior diplomat Dr.Mohan Kumar, currently India’s top envoy to Bahrain, has been appointed the next Ambassador to France to succeed Arun Kumar.
- Dr. Mohan Kumar, (IFS:1981), presently Ambassador of India to Bahrain, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to France.He is expected to take up his assignment shortly.
- The official announcement for Mohan Kumar’s appointment comes six days after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to France.
- Incidentally, before becoming Ambassador to Bahrain in 2010, Mohan Kumar served as Deputy Chief of Mission at the Indian Embassy in Paris for three years.
- MBA from Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi University and PhD from Sciences Po University, Paris
