- This was her first Singapore Open title, and third title of the 2022.
- The World ranking of PV Sindhu in Women’s Singles is 7 while at the World Tour Ranking is 2.
- This Super 500 event was organized by the Singapore Badminton Association at Singapore Indoor Stadium, Singapore, from July 12-17, 2022 with a Prize Money of USD370,000.
- Anthony Sinisuka Ginting (Indonesia) won Men’s Singles title by defeating Kodai Naraoka (Japan).
- Mixed doubles stars Dechapol Puavaranukroh and Sapsiree Taerattanachai completed another season-ending hat-trick of titles by retaining their World Tour Finals crown in Bali.
