India wins 4 medals in Asian Amateur Boxing Championship 2015

The 28th edition of Asian Amateur Boxing Championship 2015, was held in Bangkok, Thailand. The 2015 Boxing Championship was one of the biggest competitions with 188 boxers from 28 countries. Out of 28 nations, 15 nations won medals in the event. 66 boxers qualified for DOHA 2015 AIBA World Boxing Championship through this Asian championship.

India wins 4 medals (1 Silver, 3 Bronze) and got sixth place in the medal list while Kazakhstan got first place with 7 medals.(5 Gold, 1 silver, 1 Bronze).

Vikas Krishnan (75Kg) won silver medal at the Asian Championship. Satish Kumar (95 Kg), L Devendro (49Kg), Shiva Thapa (56Kg) won Bronze medals.
