India Shines at 2025 World Athletics Continental Tour Bronze Meet

On August 10, 2025, The Indian Open World Athletics Continental Tour Bronze Meet 2025, organized at the Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, marked India’s first-ever hosting of a World Athletics Continental Tour Bronze-level (Category C) event.

  • The one-day meet featured over 150 athletes from 17 countries competing in 19 events, with a total prize purse of USD 25,000.
  • More than 90 participants were from India, while the remaining athletes represented various international nations including  Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Korea, Djibouti, Iraq, and Great Britain, competing across track and field disciplines.

  • The jump broke his own Indian (Under)U18 national record and placed him number 2 in the 2025 U18 world list, number 4 in the U20 world list, and number 1 in U18 Asian.
