INTERVIEW EXPERIENCE

- Venue: IOB regional office, Anna salai, Chennai
- Date: 21/01/2016
- Panel Members: 4(1 lady – M2)
Entered the room. There was a bit silence for 5 seconds.
M2: Yes Vijey. TELL ME SOMETHING ABOUT YOURSELF..
I was interrupted and was asked to calm down and sit in a relaxed manner by M1
Me: Answered.
M1: Oh, you are already employed! Then why do you want to join banking sector?
Me: Answered.
M1: Any constraints do you have in that company?
Me: No, not at all. In fact that was a great firm to work. Still I feel this sector is better than mine.
M1: What is your perception on this PO job?
Me: Answered twice about what kind of job PO will be but they doesn’t want that answer.
So, I said “Think I am not getting actually what you are asking”
They moved to next one.
M1: Are you very religious? (As I had Thilak)
Me: 50-50. Will put my effort and then will leave the rest to God and mentioned a Tamil Poem(Thirukkural) with their permission.
At last,
Me: Any negatives in my answering?
They said why are you scared and restless?
Me: I said that am not scared but this is the first time. So only bit nervous but not scared really. They wished me and said you can go now.
