Hi friends! One of our reader Jaideep has shared his IBPS CLERK success story with us. You can learn from his experience and keeping hard working and hoping for the best.
Hiii Frnds
m Jaideep Soni from Rajasthan.
My story contains some struggle, some bad luck and some motivation too.
I had completed my B.Sc Mathematics in 2014, and then started preparing myself in the World War of banking exams.
I have always been an average student; I did not have qualities of talented people. Some mistakes happened every time in the exams I gave. But I did not loss himmat because I knew that today or tomorrow success will come for sure, if I stop this time, then dream will remain a dream forever.
Started with SBI CLERK 2014 Exam and ended with Ibps Clerk V Exam.

score 112 cutoff 115
>Ibps RRB Clerk 3
score 154 but could not get chance to appear for interview
>Ibps PO 4
score 74 cutoff 80
>Ibps Clerk 4
score 122 cutoff 123
>Sbi Associates Clerk 2015
Wrtn cleared but not final selection, short by 5 marks.
> SBI PO 2015

>IBPS PO 5

>IBPS RRB 4
Got RMGB Bank with OBC 1st Rank in RMGB
Success started from here
>IBPS Clerk 5
got PNB
and now I hope, that this success time continues
Now come to study planning, then I say that there is no need to run fast in IBPS race. If you leave others behind then only u can succeed.
Plan before very exam that what to attempt in particular section and how much marks we have to get by any way.
After Sbi Assistant 2016, there will be no use of time management, only speed will work. Try to Score More in GA and COMPUTER.
For Computer, first read the matter, and then do the objectives.
Books – Lucent, Kiran with Previous papers
For GA, follow 2 or 3 sites which u like. Makes notes daily and revise them 2 times at least, you will not forget.
Don’t forget to take Partiyogita and Kiran Monthly. In these detailed GA and some previous exams will be found – memory based. Bu this at least u get the pattern that what is coming now-a-days, the same pattern is followed throughout the year.
After this, do GA objectives – daily and monthly. U will have to a lot of hard work in this, but this is the interesting n scoring section.
Reasoning:
First understand all the topics and then practice with latest questions.
Books > Bank PO Chapterwise Reasoning, Magical Book on Puzzles By B.Sc Publication
English:
In bank exams, reading is more important than grammar. Do the previous papers of PO level and do 1 set at least 3 times. Read each line slowly and understand the tense, from this u will get a lot of help in Cloze test. Vocab will also be covered in this, n mostly it repeats.
English newspaper is also important, might don’t read daily, at least take 1 in a week and whenever u get time read it.
If you do this, not only cutoff will be cleared, but also u will get good score.
Books – Kiran Bank Po Chapterwise English (Best ever book for Previous papers practice), Objective General English SP Bakshi by Arihant Publication
Maths:
Take any good book and do the chapters. Don’t try to do all the topics, because one do not get that much time in exam. The topics which u get are easy, do only those with exam pattern.
Books -Kiran Bank Po Chapterwise Quantive Aptitude (this book contains lot of questions for each topic), R S Agarwal, Ramniwas Mathuriya (it is best book for basics and tricks)
I have followed all these books by myself.
All the Best Guyz for future Exams
and Special Thanx to AffairsCloud team.
We are happy that we could also become a part of your success journey. All the best Jaideep for your future.
