Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) partnered with U.S. Agency for International Development’s (USAID) Market Integration and Transformation Program for Energy Efficiency (MAITREE) Program launched the “Healthy and Energy Efficient Buildings” that will pave way for a greener and healthier workplace on the occasion of the World Environment Day (June 5).
Objective: To discuss and accelerate the process of the cost-effective modernization measures in existing buildings and air conditioning systems so that they are both healthy and energy-efficient, for the better quality of life of citizens in India and South Asia.
Why is there a need to modernize?
India has always struggled at the forefront of air quality, the inadequacy of good air quality since a Pre- COVID19 time and establish the need for the comfort of its occupants. In this time of the pandemic distress, It has become essential for the people returning to their workplaces to be well equipped with regions of healthy indoor air quality.
Pilot Phase Initiative: Leadership is being taken by the EESL initiating the first move to have implemented the framework in its office in Delhi.
