Haryana Govt Signed MoU with M3M Foundation to Enable Students to get into Government Jobs

Haryana-inks-MoU-with-M3M-for-online-preparation-for-government-jobsHaryana employment department signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with M3M Foundation, the philanthropic arm of M3M Group to facilitate students’ online preparation, training and mentoring for entrance examinations of government jobs. The MoU was signed by Seema Kaushik, Director, Department of Employment, Government of Haryana and Dr. Payal Kanodia, Trustee, M3M Foundation at Haryana Niwas in Chandigarh in the presence of Dushyant Chautala, Haryana deputy chief minister.

  • The MoU is in line with the vision of the Haryana government to link 1 lakh candidates to government jobs within and outside the state in the next 2 years. The MoU is valid for 18 months.

Key Info

i.Through this MoU, a program will be implemented to select 50,000 candidates for online training based on their past performance in government examinations in the state. 

ii.Under the MoU, M3M Foundation will finance the initiative, identify, select and hire suitable students and undertake a periodic review of the implementation of the program. 

MoU signed b/w M3M Foundation and Gradeup

M3M Foundation has also signed a separate MoU with ‘Grade Stack Learning Private Limited (Gradeup), an online ed-tech platform for facilitating online training of students. 

Major Highlights

Gradeup Platform 

M3M Foundation has created the ‘Grade Stack Learning Private Limited (Gradeup)’ platform to provide online coaching, which will provide a web-link to the employment department to register the candidates.

1st phase

i.In the 1s phase 50,000 meritorious candidates will be given coaching for Group-C and Group-D jobs through online programmes. This includes 70% youth from rural areas and 30% from urban areas.

ii.They will be provided video lectures, quizzes, mock tests, previous question papers and other course material. A candidate can select 3 courses or examinations to access the material. 

Dashboard to Employment Department

The Employment Department will be given access to the dashboard to overview the  performance of the candidates in the Gradeup Monthly Mock Examination. 

Candidates’ mock tests will be conducted through the study dashboard and weekly data, where the best performing candidates will be transferred from the low performing batches.

Online coaching to those who have appeared for various competitive examinations

Further the new platform will provide online coaching to the youth who have appeared for various competitive examinations conducted under Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) and have missed being selected by a very thin margin.

Review

The progress of their preparation will be reviewed every week and every month. From them, there is a plan to prepare the top 1,000 youth for Group-A and Group-B jobs by giving live coaching.

Minister of State for Employment Shri Anoop Dhanak Shri Rakesh Gupta; Additional Secretary to Department of Employment of Haryana, T C Gupta; Trustee, M3M Foundation, Aishwarya Bansal among others were also present on the occasion.

Note-Currently, Haryana’s participation in Central Government jobs is only 2%, which is targeted to be taken up to 7-8%.
