On November 4, 2019, Harmony Foundation has presented 15th edition of Mother Teresa Memorial Awards for Social Justice (MTMA) awards 2019 to noble reformists at the MTMA ceremony held with the theme ‘Combating Contemporary Forms of Slavery’at the Taj Lands End, Mumbai, Maharashtra.Mother Teresa Memorial Awards 2019Key Points:
The awards are international and national awards presented annually to honour individuals and organizations that promote peace, equality and social justice, and aim to encourage the cause of justice and peaceful coexistence, while providing a impetus for society to imbibe these values. It is the only award in the name of Mother Teresa recognized by the Missionaries of Charity.

4Free A Girl (Founder, Evelien Hölsken)An organization honored for uniquely re-integrating former sex-workers into civil society by training them into becoming future advocates.
5JEEVIKA (Founder, Dr. Kiran Kamal Prasad)An organisation working to end bonded 30,000 labour in Karnataka by freeing and rehabilitating those who have been trapped in its clutches.
6Junior Nzita NsuamiFor spearheading the international campaign through the United Nations against the use of child soldiers in war
7Rob Williams (CEO, War Child UK)He rescues, reforms and rehabilitates child soldiers rescued from warlords and armed groups notably in the Democratic Republic of Congo and the Central African Republic.
8Alezandra Russell (Founder, Urban Light)She runs an organisation in Thailand that empowers & rehabilitates boys and men who are victims of trafficking and exploitation.
9Hsina Kharbhih (Founder, Impulse NGO Network)An organisation rescues and empoweres more than 72,000 vulnerable victims from the fate of trafficking
10Office for the Rescue of Yazidis (Director, Hussein Al-Qaidi)An organisation that has successfully rescued over 3500 Yazidi women and children from the perilous clutches of ISIS and are still on a mission to rescue others.
11PRERANA (Co-Founder, Priti Patkar)An NGO that attempts to abolish intergenerational prostitution.
12Rob Williams (CEO, War Child UK)For using his skills as a filmmaker to spread awareness about the existence of contemporary forms of slavery and inspiring the fight against it
