Archery coach Jayantilal NanomaOn 1st June 2020, Former international archer and Archery coach of Rajasthan, Jayantilal Nanoma passed away at the age of 34 in Geetanjali Hospital, Udaipur due to injuries caused in the road accident, that took place on 31st May 2020(Sunday) while travelling from Banswara to Dungarpur in a car with a friend. He was born on 12th December 1985 in Dungarpur, Rajasthan.

Achievements:

i.From 2003 to 2010 he was a member of Indian Compound Teams and won in Asia Cup Grand Prix Archery Tournaments.

ii.At the 4th Asian Archery Grand Prix Championship, 2009 he won the team gold under compound with Chinna Raju and Chungda.

iii.In the 1st Asian Archery Grand Prix Championship 2010 he won the team silver with Chinna Raju and Palton and the individual silver under Compound.

iv.In the 2nd Asian Archery Grand Prix Championship Feb 2010, he won the team bronze.

Awards:

i.He was the recipient of Maharana Pratap State Sports Award 2005-2006.

ii.The Rajasthan Government honoured Jayanti Lal Nanoma with Guru Vashistha Award in 2017.

Career:

i.He became the District Sports Officer in Dungarpur.

ii.He was the coach of many national and international archers from Rajasthan.

iii.He worked as the Indian Teams coach in various international competitions.
