1. Blandishment – flattering, खुशामद
Meaning – a flattering or pleasing statement or action used as a means of gently persuading someone to do something.
Usage – “the blandishments of the travel brochure”
synonyms – flattery, cajolery, coaxing, wheedling, honeyed words, smooth talk, soft words, blarney; fulsomeness, simpering, fawning, toadying, ingratiating, ingratiation etc.
2. Refutation – disproof, खंडन
Meaning – to prove wrong by argument or evidence :, show to be false or erroneous.
Usage – refuted the allegations.
3. Persistent – continuous, लगातार
Meaning – continuing firmly or obstinately in an opinion or course of action in spite of difficulty or opposition.
Usage – “one of the government’s most persistent critics”
synonyms – tenacious, persevering, determined, resolute, purposeful, dogged, single-minded, tireless, indefatigable, pertinacious, patient, diligent, assiduous, sedulous etc.
4. Inadequate – insufficient, अपर्याप्तता
Meaning – the state or quality of being inadequate; lack of the quantity or quality required.
Usage – “the inadequacy of available resources”
synonyms – insufficiency, deficiency, scantness, scarcity, scarceness, sparseness, dearth, paucity, poverty, shortage, want, lack, undersupply etc.
5. Indelible – unerasable, अमिट
Meaning – (of ink or a pen) making marks that cannot be removed.
Usage – “an indelible marker pen”
synonyms – ineradicable, inerasable, ineffaceable, unexpungeable, indestructible, permanent, lasting, persisting, enduring, stubborn, ingrained, unfading, imperishable etc.
6. Penchant – preference, झुकाव
Meaning – a strong or habitual liking for something or tendency to do something.
Usage – “he has a penchant for adopting stray dogs”
7. Inexorably – continuously, बिना रुके
Meaning – not to be persuaded, moved, or affected by prayers or entreaties.
Usage – an inexorable creditor.
8. Tangible – real, वास्तविक
Meaning – perceptible by touch.
Usage – “the atmosphere of neglect and abandonment was almost tangible”
synonyms – touchable, palpable, tactile, material, physical, real, substantial, corporeal, solid, concrete etc.
9. incredulous – unbelievable, अविश्वासपूर्ण
Meaning – (of a person or their manner) unwilling or unable to believe something.
Usage – “an incredulous gasp”
synonyms – disbelieving, unbelieving, doubtful, dubious, unconvinced etc.
10. Outrage – angry, गुस्सा
Meaning – arouse fierce anger, shock, or indignation in (someone).
Usage – “the public were outraged at the brutality involved”
synonyms – enrage, infuriate, incense, anger, scandalize, offend, give offence to, make indignant, affront, be an affront to, shock, horrify, disgust, revolt, repel, appal, displease etc.
