1. Solace – सांत्वना
Meaning – comfort or consolation in a time of great distress or sadness.
Synonyms – comfort, consolation, cheer, support, relief
Usage – they tried to find solace in pictures of their little girl as they wanted to remember her.
2. Lambasted – आलोचना की
Meaning – criticize (someone or something) harshly.
Synonyms – criticize, castigate, chastise, censure, condemn, take to task, harangue, attack, rail at, rant at, revile, fulminate against, haul/call over the coals; upbraid, scold, reprimand, rebuke, chide, reprove, admonish, berate.
Usage – they lambasted the report as a gross distortion of the truth
3. Lacerated – पंगु
Meaning – tear or make deep cuts in (flesh or skin).
Synonyms – gash, slash, tear, rip, rend, mangle, mutilate, maim, maul, shred, score, scratch, scrape, graze, incise; knife, gouge, split, cleave, hack, stab, tear apart, butcher, savage, wound, injure, hurt, damage.

4. Squander – गंवाना
Meaning – waste (something, especially money or time) in a reckless and foolish manner.
Synonyms – waste, misspend, misuse, throw away, dissipate, fritter away, run through, lose, lavish, spend recklessly, spend unwisely, make poor use of, be prodigal with, spend money like water; informalblow, splurge.
Usage – entrepreneurs squander their profits on expensive cars.
5. Lacuna – कमी
Meaning – the journal has filled a lacuna in Middle Eastern studies.
Usage – an unfilled space; a gap.
6. Hamstring – पंख काटना
Meaning – cripple (a person or animal) by cutting their hamstrings.
Synonyms – cripple, lame, hock, disable, handicap, injure.
Usage – the enemy was trying to hamstring his horse.
7. Suffrage – मताधिकार
Meaning – the right to vote in political elections.

8. Pittance – देन

Usage – a motley crew of discontents and zealots.
10. Bereave – वंचित करना
Meaning – be deprived of a close relation or friend through their death.

Usage – she had recently been bereaved.
