1. Recluse – वैरागी
Meaning – a person who lives a solitary life and tends to avoid other people.
Synonyms – hermit, ascetic; monk, nun; marabout, santon; rareeremite, anchorite, anchoress, stylite, cenobite.
Usage – she has turned into a virtual recluse.
2. Stern – कठोर
Meaning – (of a person or their manner) serious and unrelenting, especially in the assertion of authority and exercise of discipline.

3. Glean – बीनना
Meaning – obtain (information) from various sources, often with difficulty.

4. Strive – प्रयास करते हैं
Meaning – make great efforts to achieve or obtain something.
Usage – national movements were striving for independence.
5. Spur – प्रेरणा
Meaning – a thing that prompts or encourages someone; an incentive.
Synonyms – stimulus, incentive, encouragement, stimulant, stimulation, inducement, impetus, prod, prompt; incitement, goad; fillip; motive, motivation.
Usage – wars act as a spur to practical invention.
6. Elongate – लम्बी
Meaning – make (something) longer, especially unusually so in relation to its width.

7. Addle – सड़ा
Meaning – make (someone) unable to think clearly; confuse.

9. Deed – कर्म
Meaning – an action that is performed intentionally or consciously.
Synonyms – act, action, activity; feat, exploit, performance, achievement, accomplishment, attainment, endeavour, effort; undertaking, enterprise.
Usage – doing good deeds.
10. Decry – दोष देना
Meaning – publicly denounce.
Synonyms – denounce, condemn, criticize, censure, damn, attack, fulminate against, rail against, inveigh against, blame, carp at, cavil at, run down, pillory, rap, lambaste, deplore, disapprove of, vilify, execrate, revile; disparage, deprecate.
