In October 2025, the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) handed over 12 Licensing Agreements for Transfer of Technology (LAToTs) covering eight indigenous defence products to industry partners during the inaugural session of SAMANVAY 2025, a two-day industry synergy organised by the Electronics and Communication Systems (ECS) Cluster of DRDO in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Capability: The LAToT handovers signify a major step in operationalising indigenous technologies, bridging the gap between research and large-scale production.
Policy Alignment: The initiative aligns with the Revised DRDO Transfer of Technology (ToT) Policy 2025, which aims to simplify procedures and empower MSMEs through the Technology Development Fund (TDF) that provides up to Rs. 50 crore per project.
