    Union Minister Annapurna Devi, the Ministry of Women and Child Development (MoWCD) has launched the ‘SHe-Box portal’, a centralized platform for registering and monitoring complaints of sexual harassment of women at the workplace.
     Annapurna Devi has also launched a new website of the MoWCD at New Delhi, Delhi.
     The She-Box Portal acts as a centralised repository for information about Internal Committees (ICs) and Local Committees (LCs) formed across India, covering both the public and private sectors.
     It also includes a designated Nodal Officer to enable real-time monitoring of complaints, resulting in a faster and assured redressal process.

     Satish Kumar Vaduguri is currently serving as the Director (Marketing) of the IOCL.
     Rajneesh Narang is currently serving as the Director (Finance) of the HPCL.

    On 29th August 2024, Indian Naval Ship (INS) Arighat, the 2nd Arihant-Class SSBN(Ship, Submersible, Ballistic, Nuclear), was commissioned into the Indian Navy at Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh (AP) in the presence of Union Minister Rajnath Singh, Ministry of Defence (MoD).
     It is India’s 2nd indigenous nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarine, after INS Arihant which was commissioned into service in August 2016.Arihant is a Sanskrit word which means ‘Destroyer of the Enemy’.
     INS Arighat retains the same reactor and dimensions of INS Arihant such as: displacement of 6,000 tonnes and is powered by  an 83 MegaWatt (MW) pressurized light-water reactor with enriched Uranium (U), but has several technological upgrades.
     It can attain speeds up to 24 knots (44 km/hr) when submerged and about 12-15 knots (22-28 km/rh) on surface level.
     It has 4 missile launch tubes. Each tube can carry up to three K-15 submarine-launched ballistic missiles (SLBM) with a range of 750 km, or one K-4 SLBM, that has a range of 3,500 km. Both are capable of carrying nuclear warheads
