     The summit was conducted for three days from 9th December to 11th December 2024.
     The Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit 2024, is based on the theme- ‘Replete, Responsible, Ready’.
     India is currently ranked as the 5th largest economy in the world.
     Rajasthan Government has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) of over Rs 35 lakh crores during the Rising Rajasthan Global Summit 2024.
     The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy has approved the development of a 2GW (gigawatt) Solar Park project of Rajasthan Solar Development Corporation in Rajasthan.
     Union minister for road transport and highways, Nitin Gadkari, announced nine road and highway projects for Rajasthan, with a combined length of 800 kilometers on 10th December 2024.
     The Adani Group has planned to invest Rs 7.5 lakh crore in Rajasthan, focusing on green energy and infrastructure with over half of this investment to be implemented in the next five years.
     Tata Power has announced an investment of Rs 1.2 lakh crore in Rajasthan in various renewable energy related projects.

     GeM is an online platform for public procurement in India that was launched on 9th August, 2016 by the the Ministry of Commerce and Industry(MoC&I) with the objective of creating an inclusive, efficient, and transparent platform for the buyers and sellers to implement procurement activities in a fair and competitive manner.

     The employability rates are highest among management graduates (78%), followed by engineering (71.5%), Master of Commerce Administration (MCA) students (71%) and science graduates (58%).
     India’s workforce with 65% under the age of 35, provides a substantial advantage in meeting the demands of industries in regions such as the Gulf, Southeast Asia, Europe and Africa.
     Kerala (India) is ranked 5th in employability among all states with a strong workforce, especially among youths (87.47% for ages  22-25) and experienced professionals (68.82% for ages 26-29).
     Kerala has retained its top ranking among states for the 4th consecutive time as per Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) India Index 2023-24.

     French Rafale jets and UAE’s F-16 fighters were stationed at the Al Dhafra air base in the UAE.
     The “large force engagement” exercise showcased intense combat exercises conducted around 350-400 kilometer(km) southwest of Karachi, over the Arabian Sea.
     The “Desert Knight” exercise expands on the trilateral framework set up in 2022 by the foreign ministers of India, France, and the UAE.
