     The RBI has raised the inflation forecast for FY25 to 4.8% as against 4.5% earlier with Q3 at 5.7% and Q4 at 4.5%.
     The RBI has permitted small finance banks (SFBs) to offer pre-sanctioned credit lines via the Unified Payments Interface (UPI).

     The tax was intended to stabilize government revenues during the price surge, applying to both domestically produced crude oil and the export of refined fuels like petrol, diesel, and ATF.
     Since its implementation, the windfall tax generated significant revenue, including Rs 25,000 crore in its first year, Rs 13,000 crore in 2023-24 and Rs 6,000 crore in 2024, reflecting its declining effectiveness due to falling oil prices.
