    • The event saw the signing of MoUs and Agreements by MoD, MoE, MoSDE, Indian Army (IA), Indian Navy (IN), and Indian Air Force (IAF) with various stakeholders for the education and skill development of Agniveers.
    • These MoUs will enable Agniveers to timely complete their education, develop additional qualities and skills while serving in the Armed Forces.
    i. MoUs with National Institute of Open School (NIOS) will provide 12th Class certificates, and Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will award Bachelor’s degree, and diploma (2years) to the Agniveers.
    ii. The skill sets of Agniveers have been laid down with National Occupational Standards (NOS), in coordination with National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and Sector Skill Councils (SSCs).
    • Based on these qualifications, ‘Kaushal Praman Patra‘will be issued to Agniveers at the time of their exit from the Armed Forces.
