      i. The metaverse virtual environment will allow users to participate in the development of a more advanced and sustainable world.
      ii. With this partnership, DBS becomes the first Singaporean company to join hands with The Sandbox and the first bank in Singapore to venture into the metaverse.
      iii. As part of the agreement, DBS will acquire a 3×3 plot of LAND—a virtual real estate unit in The Sandbox metaverse—that will be built with immersive aspects.

      Mukesh Ambani, the Chairman of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) has announced plans to build India’s first and one of the world’s largest Carbon Fibre Plant in Hazira, Gujarat. The plant’s 1st phase will be completed by 2025.
      i. The plant is based on Acrylonitrile feedstock and will have a capacity of 20,000 Metric Tonnes Per Annum (MTPA).
      ii. The investment of RIL is Rs 75,000 crore over the next 5 years in RILs Oil-to-Chemical (O2C) business to expand capacities in existing and new value chains.

      On September 11, 2022, the 5th Nilgiri-Class stealth frigate of the Indian Navy’s (IN) Project 17A namely ‘Taragiri’ (YD 12653) was launched in Mumbai, Maharashtra by Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd. (MDL). It is named after a hill range in the Himalayas located in Garhwal, Uttarakhand.
      “Taragiri” is the 3rd frigate built by MDL and the 5th ship in the class overall.
      i. It was designed by the Indian Navy’s in-house design organisation Directorate of Naval Design (DND) in New Delhi (Delhi), while its detailed design and construction was overseen by the MDL, along with Warship Overseeing Team (Mumbai).
