In a virtual programme, Atal Innovation Mission(AIM), a flagship initiative set up by the NITI Aayog, has partnered with Freshworks Inc., a customer-engagement software company to provide robust support to innovators and entrepreneurs in India. AIM has also collaborated with ScooNews, one of India’s largest education media houses to share and spread inspiring stories of grassroots innovations.
Apart from officials of AIM, NITI Aayog, and Freshworks, AIM incubators, startups, AIM-supported schools, mentors, and ACIC-shortlisted applicants were also present in the virtual programme

Aim of the Partnership
To foster innovation and entrepreneurship among startup innovators and enhance competence of the institutions and startups in the AIM portfolio.
Freshworks Inc., to provide Credits
Freshworks Inc., under this partnership, will offer credits for its suite of products to AIM and its beneficiaries, which will enable startups to function efficiently while keeping a tab on costs in related activities.
Credits that are offered to the beneficiaries are related to the following:
- Freshsales—Sales CRM Software, Freshdesk—Customer Support Software, Freshchat—Customer Messaging Software, Fresh Release—Agile Project Management Software.
- Freshcaller—Cloud Telephony Software, Freshmarketer—Marketing Automation Software, Freshteam—HR Management Software, Freshservice—and IT service management software.
Freshworks Inc., to do a white-glove onboarding
As per the Statement of Intent (SoI), Freshworks Inc., will do a white-glove onboarding for startups, including a functional training in sales, marketing, and customer support use of cloud technology to provide a better customer experience.
Resources and Mentorship will be Provided
The resources and mentorship to startups in the area of expertise of the Freshworks Inc., will also be provided, which includes access to virtual or physical office hours to interact with functional leaders from Freshworks and an extended mentor network.
Diverse webinars will be organised with AIM, which includes workshops, training of modules and other relevant topics.
AIM Partnership with ScooNews
i.Through this collaboration awareness will be generated on a large scale about various initiatives of AIM and Atal Tinkering Labs(ATL) to the education sector stakeholders, schools, faculties, educators and mentors will be provided quality perspectives, content and best practices from across the globe.
ii.ScooNews,through its network will support diverse events or competitions initiated by AIM.
iii.AIM & ScooNews will curate and publish ATL-related content, ed-tech news and stories of various startups and organisations supported by AIM on a monthly basis.
iv.ScooNews to celebrate the top innovations of ATL Marathon will introduce a special publication.
