Arun Singh, India’s Ambassador to France, has been named as the Indian Ambassador to United States. He will replace Jaishankar Subrahmanyam, India’s Foreign Secretary. Indian Government has already sent an agreement to the Government of United States, regarding Singh as its next Ambassador and was awaiting a response from them. However, according to the reports, the new shuffling will be only done after Modi’s proposed visit to Paris in April.
