Former Indian captain and one of the Best Spinners in the World Anil Kumble will be inducted in the ICC Cricket hall of fame for his extra ordinary performances in his Cricket career for 18 years. He will become only the fourth Indian player after Sunil Gavaskar, Bishan Singh Bedi and Kapil Dev and the 77th player overall to be inducted in the prestigious hall of fame. Kumble’s name will be inducted in the list on February 22, 2015. Wetty Wilson, one of the greatest women cricketers of all time, will be the 78th inductee in the list.

- Anil Kumble  captured all 10 wickets in an innings, being only the second player to achieve this feat, after Jim Laker of England.
- Kumble achieved this feat in a 1999 test match between India and Pakistan.Â
- Kumble was honored with Arjuna Award in 1995 and Padma Shri Award in 2005.Â
- He took a total of 619 Wickets in Test Matches and 337 Wickets in One Day Internationals.Â
- He is the third-highest wicket taker in Tests only behind Muttiah Muralitharan and Shane Warne.
