Justice MM Das to probe the Chit Fund Scam in Odisha

The state Government of Odisha has appointed Justice Madan Mohan Das as Chairman of the Commission of Inquiry probing chit fund scam in Odisha. This post was previously held by Justice Radha Krushna Patra, who dies on January 28, 2015. The one-man Commission of Inquiry headed by Justice RK Patra was constituted on July 2013. Madan Mohan Das has served as Judge of the High Court for almost ten years.
