Arogya Fair began in Goa

In a move to popularize the Indian medicines with special attention to Ayurveda, Arogya fair is a four day programme is begin today in Goa.

• The fair is launched as a cooperative effort by AYUSH ministry and Confederation of Indian Industry
• The main objective is to popularize the Indian Medicinal system and update the industry with recent developments in the sector
• The fair will concentrate to popularize Indian medicines like Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, Homeopathy, Sowa-Rigpa and Yoga
• Free medical checkups, distribution of medicines and technical sessions are to be held at the four day fair
• It is also planned to display the various medicinal plants in the fair
• Live demonstration of Yoga and technical sessions on emerging trends in the industry will also be held
• 15000-20000 visitors are expected at the event
• Demonstrations of Home remedies for common ailments will be the centre of attraction
• This will be an excellent platform to popularize the Indian medicines
