  • Gross Goods and Services Tax (GST) collections (+15% on annual basis); e-way bill generation, which tracks the movement of goods (+7%); and domestic automobile sales ( around + 25%).

Strongest Indicator: As per the report, Index of Industrial Production (IIP) which recorded 8% annual growth rate (in August 2026) has emerged as the strongest indicator.

  • It further showed that electricity and gas supply; and manufacturing sectors expanded by 12.3% and 9%, respectively, while mining and quarrying declined by 5.6%.
