Patronage: The event, marking the 5th edition of APYG, was held across 8 venues, and was held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Organizers: The event was organized by the Asian Paralympic Committee (APC) in collaboration with Dubai Club for People of Determination, and Dubai Sports Council (DSC).
Participation: The event witnessed participation from over 1500 participants, over 700 volunteers from 35 countries.
Sports Categories: The games featured 11 sports such as Para Archery, Para Athletics, Para Badminton, Boccia, Goalball, Para Powerlifting, Para Swimming, Para Taekwondo, Para Table Tennis, Wheelchair Basketball, and Para-Arm-wrestling.
Mascot: The official Mascot of Asian Youth Para Games 2025 is “Foxy”, inspired by the Emirati Desert Fox, a species native to the UAE. It symbolizes youth, resilience, determination, and adaptability.
Indian Contingent: It includes 99 athletes, encompassing 61 men and 38 women, competing across eight sports disciplines.

Top 3 Countries: Iran finished the medal tally in second place with 262 medals, including 76 gold, 96 silver, 88 bronze. Iran won 104 medals in Para swimming and 82 in para-athletics.
- Japan secured third place with 77 medals, including 40 gold medals, 25 silver, and 12 bronze.
Record Broken: The 2025 APYG witnessed the breaking of 25 records, including 9 world records and 16 Asian records, reflecting exceptional performances.

Overview: It is a continental multi-sport event for youth athletes with physical disabilities from across Asia. It is organized every four years by the APC.
Background: The APYG was earlier held as Far East and South Pacific Games for the Disabled (FESPIC) Youth Games. It was held as APYG in 2009 in Tokyo (Japan).
