In November 2025, Sports Authority of India (SAI), in collaboration with the Rajasthan State Sports Council and the Government of Rajasthan unveiled the Logo, Mascot, Torch, and Jersey for the 5th Edition of Khelo India University Games (KIUG) 2025 at Amer Fort in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

2025 Khelo India University Games:
Overview: The games are scheduled from 24 November to 5 December 2025, and are expected to bring together around 7,500 athletes from around 200 universities across India, competing in 24 sports disciplines.
- Games Canoeing, Kayaking, Cycling, and Beach Volleyball are newly added in KIUG 2025 .
Host Cities: It includes seven cities in Rajasthan such as Jaipur, Ajmer, Bharatpur, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, and Bikaner, marking the first time Rajasthan hosting national-level university sports event.
Logo: The logo features
- Hawa Mahal, symbolizing Jaipur’s royal heritage and grace,
- Ranthambore Fort, representing strength, strength, and tradition
- Sand dunes, reflecting Rajasthan’s desert landscape
- Windmills, symbolizing modernity, sustainability, and energy
- Pink color palette, a tribute to Jaipur, the “Pink City”.
Mascots: The mascots for KIUG 2025 are “Khamma” and “Ghani”, which embody Rajasthan’s spirit and culture.
- Khamma, inspired by “Camel”, the state animal of Rajasthan, symbolizes endurance, strength, and agility.
- Ghani, draws from the local greeting “Khamma Ghani”, representing hospitality and warmth.
Torch: It is designed to echo the forts and desert motifs of Rajasthan, symbolizing the “eternal flame of youth and excellence”.
Jerseys: It features colors and designs inspired by Rajasthani motifs, integrating sportiness with local cultural aesthetics.
Anthem: The anthem celebrates the spirit of sport and unity, encouraging Rajasthan to progress while including all of India.
About Khelo India University Games: KIUG, the India’s largest university-level multi-sport event, launched in 2020, under the Khelo India Programme of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports (MYAS), to promote sports culture and identify young talent.
- It is organized by SAI, Association of Indian Universities (AIU), and the host state government.
- The top-performing athletes often receive support for training under the Khelo India Talent Development Scheme.
