Under the SBM, over 10 crore toilets have been constructed and 6 lakh villages were declared Open Defecation-Free (ODF)on 2nd October, 2019.
During the event, PM Modi launched and laid the foundation stone for several projects related to sanitation and cleanliness, worth more than Rs 9,600 crore.
