    On August 5 2024, the Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports (MYAS) of the Government of India(GoI) has signed a  Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Denzil Llewellyn Douglas, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saint Kitts and Nevis(SKN) in New Delhi(Delhi) to enhance cooperation in various sport matters.
     The MoU was signed during Denzil Douglas’s official visit to India from August 4th to 9th, 2024.
     Aim: To improve both countries’ sporting capacities by promoting a collaborative approach to sports development, sharing expertise, and mutual growth among athletic disciplines.

    ii.The announcement was made by SBI along with its Q1 (April-June) results for FY25.

     This launch is a part of SSST’s ‘G60 Project’ which was initiated in 2023 with the goal of deploying 1296 LEO satellites by 2030.
     The plan includes launching 108 satellites in 2024 and 648 satellites by the end of 2025, aiming for global network coverage by 2027.
