- Oman won Bronze medal.
- The Indian men’s hockey team finished in fifth place at the FIH Hockey 5s Men’s World Cup 2024 after they defeated Egypt in the match held for 5th and 6th positions.

Indian Women’s Hockey Team Defender Deep Grace Ekka Announces International Retirement
Indian women’s hockey team defender Deep Grace Ekka announced her international retirement from hockey on 27th January 2024. She represented the Indian national hockey team in 268 international matches and scored 24 goals.
Deep Grace Ekka Hockey Career:
i.Ekka hails from Lulkidihi village in Sundargarh district, Odisha
ii.She was part of the Indian team in the Rio de Janeiro(Brazil) 2016 Olympic Games, and the Tokyo(Japan) 2020 Olympics.
iii.She was also part of the medal-winning Indian team in three editions of the Asian Games.

- Silver medal in Jakarta-Palembang (Indonesia) 2018
