- The Indian MenтАЩs Team were crowned as Freestyle Champions. It is IndiaтАЩs 1st ever team freestyle world title at any level. While the WomenтАЩs Wrestling Team clinched the Silver Medal.
- The Cadet World Championship is an annual event held for Wrestlers aged between the ages of 16-17 years.
