On 8th March 2021 the HDFC Bank has launched “SmartUp Unnati”, a mentoring program by women for women entrepreneurs. Under this programme, senior women leaders from HDFC bank with expertise spanning domains will mentor women entrepreneurs to achieve their goals in the next one year.
Features of SmartUp Unnati:
i.The programme is available only for the existing customers.
ii.The initial target of the programme is more than 3000 women entrepreneurs associated with the SmartUp programme of HDFC Bank.
Benefits:
i.The SmartUp Unnati programme of HDFC bank will support the women entrepreneurs to face the challenges unique to them in the startup ecosystem.
ii.This will also provide access to mentorship, expand their vision and scale up their business by gaining new experiences.
SmartUp programme:
The SmartUp programme was an online mentoring platform for banking start-ups launched by HDFC in 2018.
Under this programme the bank works with various state governments, incubators and others to promote entrepreneurship.
