Dear Sir,
  This refers to my Savings Account No 14568674 with your Bank.
  This is to bring your kind notice that I had issued a crossed cheque No 875329 dated the 22nd of November, 2014, for an amount of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs Ten Thousand Only) in favour of Mr Narasimhan, Madurai.
  He informed me that he have not received the cheque till now. It seems that it have been lost. I have issued a fresh cheque No 984356 dated the December 2, 2014, for the sum of Rs 10,000/- (Rs Ten Thousand only), in favour of Mr Narasimhan, Madurai.
  I sincerely request you to cancel the cheque (Cheque No 875329) mentioned in the second paragraph and please stop the payment, if and when it is presented to your bank. Please confirm me that you have taken necessary action in this regard,
  Please acknowledge the receipt of this letter and treat it as immediate.
