Rajasthan government signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ShriVallabh Pittie (SVP) International Group to develop projects for textile, defence and aerospace, which includes aircraft Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility, aviation academy. Through this MoU, SVP will invest Rs 4000 crore for these projects, which will create employment opportunities for more than 4000 people.

The company representatives and state industry department officials signed the MoU in the presence of Ashok Gehlot, Rajasthan Chief Minister(CM).
Key Info
i.Presentation about the project was made by the company representatives at the meeting chaired by Ashok Gehlot, which was attended by Prasadi Lal Meena, Industry Minister; Rajeeva Swarup, Chief Secretary among others.
ii.The projects are intended to be developed at mutually agreed locations of the state.
iii.For rapid implementations of the projects, the state govt has directed to establish a committee under the chairmanship of Principal Secretary, Industries.
